What to Expect

THE PLAN!

Physically, you should be able to link several full days in the mountains, including 6 to 8 hours of hiking per day at a steady pace, with a pack on your back, without pushing beyond your limits.

Because this is a progression-based camp, we take the application process seriously to make sure everyone in the group has the right foundations and can move safely together.

If you’re unsure whether your experience or fitness level is suitable, don’t hesitate to get in touch. We’d be happy to chat :)

This camp is about understanding the mountain environment, learning how to plan and pace a trek, and gaining confidence to move safely in high-altitude terrain.

our week

Who is this for?

This camp is for:

  • Hikers and mountain lovers looking to take the next step

  • Participants with some previous trekking or mountain experience

  • Those looking to build practical skills and progress towards greater autonomy in the mountains

  • People comfortable on steep, rocky and uneven mountain trails

  • Those able to handle 6-8 hours of mountain activity for several consecutive days

You should feel comfortable with long days in the mountains and have a reasonable fitness base.

You don’t need any previous experience planning or leading a trek, but a good fitness level and a love of the outdoors are required.
